Frequently Asked Questions

If we hire you to blog regularly for us, will you write on the subjects we choose, or will you take responsibility for picking your own topic areas?
This is entirely up to you. If you have an editorial calendar and would like to give me specific subjects to write about, I will be happy to write those posts. Alternatively, if you want me to take that off your hands and write blog posts based on a hot topic in social media, SEO, PPC, Analytics, online security, or another tech topic for that week, I will gladly do that.

Our readers are beginners / Our readers are experts. Can you write appropriately for them?
Absolutely. From “what is a tweet?” and “how to post a pin on Pinterest”, to the intricacies of Edgerank, multi-channel campaigns, social media ROI and advanced social media strategies, I can write informative, accessible and entertaining content for audiences of any level and background.

Do we have to give you credit? Or can we use your writing and take credit for it?
A lot of the writing I do is ghostwriting, where the client who buys the work takes credit for  the writing. If you would like the work you order to be ghostwritten in this way, so I do not add it to my own public portfolio, just ask. It’s no problem at all. Alternatively, if you want to publish the work under my own name, that is fine, and I will be able to promote it from my own social media accounts, and link to it from my main freelancing website, too.

Will you choose an image to go with your writing, or will we need to do that?
Again, this is entirely up to you. I am happy to find photos or take screenshots that can be legally used to illustrate a blog post, eBook or report. If, however, you would prefer to select your own appropriate images, feel free.

Can you write in American English as well as British English?
Yes. Just specify when you contact me which you would prefer, and I will write using the appropriate spelling and vocabulary.

What qualifies you to write on social media?
I have a Diploma in Social Media Marketing and I continue to undertake regular training on social media, internet marketing, and writing for SEO on an ongoing basis. I am the Social Media Officer for a major UK website, and run four very successful Twitter accounts, two popular Pinterest and Google+ profiles, and numerous Facebook groups and pages. I combine this experience and study with stringent research to write the best social media articles and posts. I keep on top of all the latest social media news through the best blogs, podcasts and websites.

The project we have in mind is not a blog post, eBook, report, web content etc. but it is all about social media. Can you do it?
Very possibly! Email me and we can discuss the options for your idea.

So, where do we start?
Just get in touch. Tell me what you would like me to do for you, and we can work out the terms. The sooner you get in touch, the sooner I can create awesome, informative, entertaining content for you.

You don’t fancy running our Twitter / Facebook / G+ / Pinterest / LinkedIn account for us, do you?
Sure! I offer a range of social media management servicesGet in touch and we can talk about what you want.

Please enter your contact details and a short message below and I will answer your query as soon as possible.
